Ragnar Frisch Centre for Economic Research
The Ragnar Frisch Centre for Economic Research is an independent research institution founded by the University of Oslo. The Frisch Centre conducts applied economic research in co-operation with the Department of Economics and other units at the university, and supports education in economics. Research project are conducted by the staff at the Frisch Centre, at the University of Oslo and at other Norwegian and foreign research institutions. It is possible to request regular information from the Frisch Centre with our inormation mailinglist.
News
21.08.09 Fedor Iskhakov was for 2008 awarded "H. M. Kongens gullmedalje" for his Ph D thesis "A dynamic structural analysis of health and retirement". The medal is awarded annually to a young, outstanding researcher within each faculty of the University of Oslo.
Iskhakov was a Ph D student at the Frisch Centre and is now post doctor at the Economics Department, University of Oslo.
The ceremony is 2. september and we congratulate Fedor Iskhakov.
