The Frisch Centre receives applications for the Frisch Scholarship every year. Deadline for applications is 16. March, and every year a maximum of four scholarships of NOK 20 000 each will be awarded. The scholarship is intended for Oslo-based Master students in economics who will be writing their Master Thesis during the following year. The thesis should ordinarily be finished by September the following year. Recipients will also receive an office space (3-4 months), a supervisor at the Frisch Centre, and an opportunity to participate in the research environment of the Frisch Centre during their stay.
Applications are received by e-mail at frisch at frisch.uio.no. Include the phrase "Frischstipendet" eller "Frisch Scholarship" in the subject field. The application should include a CV, up-to-date grade transcript and a brief description of what you plan to write your thesis on. Though the thesis topic is up to you, the scholarship will prioritize topics that thematically fit the research portfolio of the centre. If you have further questions, please contact Simen Markussen.
The purpose of the CREE Master scholarship is to provide an incentive for students to write their thesis within the field of environmentally friendly energy (CREE project plan). The value of each scholarship is NOK 20,000. Priority is given to students of economics at the University of Oslo. Those who receive the scholarship will be offered an office and a supervisor at one of the Norwegian CREE institutions. Send the application electronically to: cree-admin at frisch.uio.no, use "CREE-stipendet” in the heading. Students can also apply for a CREE Master scholarship after 16 March, 2018. If means are still available, these applications will be evaluated within a few weeks.
